Nurses Week

Nursing is a strange profession. Reactions vary nurses only a fool to choose a nurse "to" very special people can be nurses. "Well, I'll tell you - I talked to some people, I would say are idiots and I wonder how their nursing license and I have a number of nurses in fact a very Special. But for the most part, the nurses are like everyone else. We're people, that our good days and our bad days. We do our best, but we make mistakes. We laugh, cry, we stress relaxation, and we - we the people with serious work and life in our hands.

What I indicates that more than a nurse? People who still think that we share medical doctor wannabees virgins. Nothing is further from the truth. Nursing and medicine are two totally different businesses. Doctors tend to consider specific issues that need to treat, cure, or treatment. Nurses see the patient as a whole, and they see the problems in treatment.

A good example is a patient in traction after a broken leg. The doctor operates on the leg and the orders of traction, as well as drugs against pain. It is nurses who care for all patients - to assess and evaluate the patient for problems related to not move. This can lead to pressure sores on the skin, constipation, poor nutrition, social isolation and more.

It is the nurses that patients 24 hours a day. It is usually nurses who respond to the slight rise in temperature a little higher. Or a small change in the behavior of agitated patients. There are nurses who will see that Mrs. Jones is not consumed and the last day that Mr. Smith is not the treatment of his crutches, and he did last week, with little Katie is depressed because his parents are struggling, while at the hospital.

Nurses to follow the orders of doctors, nurses, but also a lot of latitude in how they deal with certain situations. It is the nurse who decides whether a patient's changing situation requires it, call a doctor, for example, or is it something he or she can?
